Understanding the Ranks

Your Path to Prestige

Members of OG have the opportunity to ascend through our ranks via active engagement and earning position promotions. Participation in practices is an invaluable means of accumulating points that can lead to a promotion. When a member is elevated to a position that already holds a higher rank, that member will retain the higher rank. The following delineates the ranks that come with position promotions:

Street Ranks

Street Level Positions:

  • Goombahs who support Capos in leading a crew receive the rank of Enforcer (S-5)
  • Capos are the ones leading a crew receive the rank of Mafioso (S-6)
  • Street Bosses who are used in large Districts receive the rank of Barone (S-9)

Street Level Rank Descriptions:

Associate (S-1)

Welcome Associate! As you take your first step in our ranks, remember – loyalty and respect are at the core of what we do. Prove yourself and doors will open.

Cugine (S-2)

Congratulations on becoming a Cugine! You’ve shown promise and the family sees potential in you. Keep your wits about you and continue proving your worth.

Made (S-3)

You’ve now been Made and are a friend of the family! This recognition is for your unwavering loyalty. Uphold the omertà and continue to serve the family faithfully.

Fence (S-4)

As a Fence, you are pivotal in our community, in-game activities, and events. Your expertise in negotiation and your extensive network connections ensure smooth transactions and enhance the overall gaming experience for our members. 

Enforcer (S-5)

Congratulations, Enforcer! Your job is to ensure our rules are followed, and dish out punishment when they’re not. Use your power wisely and remember, respect is everything.

Mafioso (S-6)

As a Mafioso, you’re a trusted member of the family. You’ve shown loyalty and have proven your ability in our line of work. Keep up the good work and remain loyal.

Earner (S-7)

You’ve earned the rank of Earner. Your contribution to the family’s wealth is key to our power and influence. Continue your hard work and the family will prosper.

Big Earner (S-8)

Congratulations, Big Earner! Your ability to bring in the big bucks is what drives the family forward. Keep the wealth flowing and continue upholding our family’s values.

Barone (S-9)

As a Barone, you’ve reached the top of our enlisted ranks. You command respect and are an example for lower ranks. Lead by example and ensure the prosperity of our family.

Officer Ranks

Officer Level Positions:

  • Underbosses who support Bosses in leading a District receive the rank of Skipper (O-1)
  • Bosses who are the ones who lead a District receive the rank of Crime Boss (O-3)
  • Outfit Heads who are lead an outfit receive the rank of Don’s Right Hand (O-5)
  • Dons who lead Families receive the rank of Wiseguy (O-7)
  • Council Members who oversee the Families receive the rank of Caporegime (O-9)
  • The Boss of all Bosses reports directly to the Godfather and holds the rank of Boss of all Bosses (O-11)

Skipper (O-1)

Congratulations on becoming a Skipper! Your efforts in running your crew and your respect for the chain of command have not gone unnoticed. Keep your crew in line and the money flowing.

Stoolie (O-2)

You’ve climbed the ranks to become a Stoolie. Your ability to gather and relay information is critical to our operations. Stay sharp, your ear to the ground, and remember the code of loyalty.

Crime Boss (O-3)

As a Crime Boss, you are the manager of our operations and hold considerable influence. Ensure our activities run smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership is critical to the family.

Button (O-4)

You are now a Button, a true soldier of the family. You’ve shown complete loyalty and have been given the honor to carry out the family’s directives.

Don's Right Hand (O-5)

As the Don’s Right Hand, you are the trusted confidante to the Don. Your counsel and guidance help navigate the family through treacherous waters. Maintain our traditions and uphold the family honor.

Fixer (O-6)

Congratulations, Fixer! You are the problem-solver of the family, swiftly dealing with any issues that arise. Your tactical skills keep us strong and unopposed.

Wiseguy (O-7)

Being a Wiseguy means you’re a full-fledged member of the family. You’ve proven your worth through loyalty and service. Continue to uphold our values and protect our interests.

Rainmaker (O-8)

As a Rainmaker, you are a catalyst for growth and success. Your strategic thinking, innovative ideas, and ability to forge valuable partnerships ensure the ongoing prosperity and evolution of our community. Your contributions help enhance the gaming experience for all members, driving OG’s reputation and influence in the gaming world.

Caporegime (O-9)

Congratulations on becoming a Caporegime! You command respect and oversee a group of families. Your leadership will guide us to greater heights.

Kingpin (O-10)

As a Kingpin, you are one of the most powerful members of the family. You are responsible for large-scale operations and hold immense influence. The future of our family rests in your hands.

Boss of all Bosses (O-11)

Congratulations on reaching the pinnacle, you are now the Boss of all Bosses. The entire organization looks to you for leadership and direction. Guide us with wisdom and let’s continue to thrive in honor and power.
